University of Southern Denmark in Odense is the university’s largest campus and at the same time the largest educational institution of the Region of Southern Denmark. Nearly all the university’s programmes are represented here, and the buildings at Campusvej accommodate about 21,000 students and 3,300 employees.
The campus is located roughly three kilometers from the city centre and is larger than the Principality of Monaco. Upwards of 20% is woodland area, and we use just as much energy as a town of 15,000 inhabitants. Through Studiebyen Odense (city of studies Odense) we collaborate with all the other educational institutions in Odense.

Arriving at Copenhagen Airport:
When arriving in Copenhagen, the easiest way to get to Odense is by train. The train departs directly from the airport and arrives in Odense approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes later. The trains depart frequently. Everything you need, ticketing office and exit to the platforms, is available from the lobby in Terminal 3 at Copenhagen Airport.

Arriving at Billund Airport:
From Billund, there is no direct means of transportation to Odense. Therefore, the journey from Billund to Odense is by both bus and train. This journey takes approximately two hours.

Arriving in Odense:
If you choose to book your accommodation with one of the Conference Hotels, with which we’ve negotiated a discount, you’re within easy walking distance of the train station.
In all likelihood, the train station and adjacent light rail platform will be your hub of transportation. From here, the brand new light rail departs regularly. Make sure to step on in the direction of Hjallese st., and get off at the University of Southern Denmark st, which is on the Southern outskirts of Odense.
The taxi hub is on the north side of the station. Should you prefer the bus, the city buses depart from the ground floor of the station proper, on the south end. You can take city bus lines 40, 41 and 42 to the end of the line, which is the main entrance of the university.
If you are arriving by car, there is ample, free parking at the University. Just follow directions to Campusvej 55, 5230 Odense.
