Getting around Trondheim by public transport
Trondheim has a well-connected network of buses, operated by AtB. We encourage LIBER 2026 delegates to use public transport to get around the city during the conference.
Buying tickets
The easiest way to buy a ticket is in the AtB app, available for iOS and Android. The app can be set to English and accepts international Visa and Mastercard. A Norwegian phone number is not required.
For all the conference hotels and NTNU Gløshaugen, you only need a ticket for zone A. A single adult ticket for zone A is valid for 90 minutes and lets you transfer between buses and the tram on the same ticket.
For more information on tickets, prices, zones and other ways to buy a ticket, visit atb.no/en/tickets-and-prices.
