Opportunities for Sponsors at LIBER 2026

The LIBER Annual Conference 2026 will be held in the historic city of Trondheim, Norway. The conference hosts around 400-500 delegates and brings library directors and their staff together for three days of networking and collaboration. Delegates mainly come from Europe but people from around the world are welcome. Regularly LIBER Annual Conference welcomes guests from countries including Australia, Canada and the United States.

Sponsorship opportunities

* The EUR amount you pay will be determined by the exchange rate at the time of payment.
Approximately price in EUR (excl VAT) 1 EUR = 11,7 NOK.
** Within each tier, placement priority will be based on the time in which the sponsor agreement is made (earlier before later)

Terms and Conditions for sponsor agreements

Full payment of the sponsorship fee is due as set on the invoice issued after the agreement is made – that is when the sponsor send the online ordering form.
The agreement can be changed or amended by supplements in writing signed by authorised representatives of both parties.
Cancellations of sponsorship before 13 May 2026 will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreement made. Cancellations after 13 May 2026 will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the agreement.
In case of disagreement, authorised representatives of the parties will seek to resolve disputed issues through negotiation within 14 days after announcing disagreement.
If the parties do not reach an agreement through negotiation, this is governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute arising out of the agreement shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Trondheim, Norway.

The local host commits to offer the options described for different sponsorship categories but reserves the right to relocate a stand or change the layout to comply with safety and evacuation rules as defined by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Authorisation for any additional equipment than described related to the sponsorships must be addressed to the local host (see contact information). Please note that any equipment not included in the descriptions on this page will be at the sponsor’s expense, and the local host reserves the right to refuse the exhibition of materials not offered.

Any distribution of food or drinks must be authorised. The sponsor must get in touch with the local host, who will relay the request to the suppliers accepted by NTNU for distribution on campus.
The local host disclaim all responsibility for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of the sponsor’s materials for the LIBER 2026 Annual Conference. The sponsor is solely responsible for the security and supervision of their property.

Furthermore, the local host cannot be held liable for any delays, interruptions, or cancellations of the event due to circumstances beyond their control.
