With 100 days to go until our next Annual Conference, we’re thrilled to spotlight our host library – the NTNU University Library in Trondheim, Norway.

During the closing ceremony interview at the Annual Conference 2025, Sølvi Karlsen, Deputy Director at the NTNU University Library, highlighted the library’s enthusiasm for hosting research librarians on their campus in 2026. As the largest university in Norway, with 44,000 students and 9,000 employees, the library consists of 14 branches of which 12 are located in Trondheim. Recognised for its innovative approach, the library plans to merge and advance its services in the years ahead.
