Coronavirus (Covid-19) Delegate Information

Due to the impacts of the coronavirus (Covid-19), LIBER 2020 will take place online.

We are already hard at work on a virtual programme, so that the content and knowledge of LIBER 2020 can still be shared throughout our network. Please keep your calendars blocked for the original conference dates (week of 22 June), and prepare to join us online for keynote speakers, panel sessions, workshops and presentations.

In 2021, we will return to an in-person conference in Belgrade, Serbia (tentatively scheduled for 1-3 July 2021). Read more about this year’s conference cancellation.

LIBER 2020 Covid-19 FAQ

  1. How can we find out more about the online conference programme? We will share more details as soon as they are known via this website, social media and our two main mailing lists: LIBER-ALL (internal list for the representatives of LIBER libraries) and LIBER Alerts (newsletter to which anyone can sign up).
  2. What about other LIBER events? All LIBER events which were due to take place up until the end of June have been cancelled and/or postponed. We will be in touch with everyone who registered for these events. If you haven’t heard from us, please email the office.
  3. Where can we find updates? We will update this page with any new information, and will share updates widely throughout our network. We invite you to follow us on Twitter (@libereurope and @liberconference), and to email the LIBER Office (liber@kb.nl) if you have urgent questions.
